Starting from 2017, speed puzzles, modified by neodymium magnets, are becoming increasingly popular.
The magnets installed in the edges and corners of the puzzles allow to position the layers relatively to each other as accurately as possible, and, therefore, reduce the probability of “lock-ups” during speed solving.
